IN BRIEF:

Site tracks Nev. stimulus alt text

March 12, 2009 by

The Nevada State Legislature Web site has been updated with a new page which tracks the use of federal recovery funds in Nevada.

The page features information about the Recovery Act and legislative hearings that have been scheduled to discuss impacts on budget.

“These funds were sent to Nevada for a very specific reason – to create jobs and spur our economy,” said Senate Majority Leader Steven Horsford in a statement.

“We must be open and accountable to Nevadans for every recovery dollar spent in the Silver State.”

The site will be updated as legislation is approved and funds are used.
