Alumni on Board
Sean Claggett, Michael Hyte and Raymond Jereza will serve on the Boyd Alumni Association Board of Directors.
The three men were voted to the positions out of a pool of 10 candidates.
Claggett is a 2000 graduate of UNLV and an alumnus of the Boyd School of Law. He began his own law firm and has been active in the community along with his wife.
Claggett was placed on the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada’s 2008 Attorney Honor Role of Volunteers for his pro bono hours of service.
Hyte, who earned his communications bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University in 2001, is the current Deputy Special Public Defender for Clark County. He is also a member of the Family Defense Project.
Jereza, a 2009 graduate, currently works for Murchison & Cumming.As a student, Raymond was the president of the Sports and Entertainment Law Association, vice president of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association and treasurer of the Minority Law Student Association.
