Rebels travel to Reno to face rival

Volleyball owns a 10-7 advantage over UNR
The UNLV Rebels return to action this week to face in-state rival Nevada, Reno in Reno.
The Rebels (6-14) sit seventh in the Mountain West Conference and are coming off two straight losses.
The Wolf Pack (8-16) is sixth in the Western Athletic Conference and split its last two contests, a straight set win over San Jose State and a straight set loss to Hawaii.
Kylie Harrington leads UNR with her 292 kills and 3.32 kills per set. She is also second on the team in digs (193) and digs per set (2.19) and has 21 blocks, 20 aces and 15 assists.
Tatiana Santiago leads the team with 405 assists but is closely followed by Sonnie Sei, who has 402 assists.
Santiago also has 128 digs and 11 aces while Sei has 107 digs, 19 kills and 12 aces. The Wolf Pack have five people with more than 100 digs on the year, but no one is near Nicole Link, who has 339 and averages 3.94 per set.
The Rebels will be led by Cursty Jackson, who leads the team in kills (222), kills per set (3.22), total blocks (70) and blocks per set (1.01). She is also second in solo blocks with 13.
Sara Nehf sits second in kills with 176.
Samantha Richard is looking to continue her hot streak after coming off two big performances against BYU and Utah. Richard leads the team in assists with 353 and is second in digs with 134.
Kela Lau Hee leads the team in digs with 224.
Senior Erin Greenwood leads the team in hitting efficiency at .329 and also leads in solo blocks with 15.
The senior is looking to move up the Rebel charts, as she is finishing her last season. Greenwood is third in hitting efficiency with .284, is fourth in total blocks with 328 and in assisted blocks with 271.
She is also in the Rebel top 10 in solo blocks, kills and total attempts.
In Reno, the Rebels are 3-2. Historically, the Rebels lead the overall series 10-7 and have won the last three meetings.
The match against the Wolf Pack is the only time the Rebels will be on the court this week, but next week, the Rebels will return to the Cox Pavilion to host New Mexico and TCU.
